• It is a type of gastrointestinal disease in which there are abnormally high eosinophils in the wall of the stomach, but not caused by IgE immune-mediated allergy.

Food allergies are not common in children and adolescents. 19.4% of adults have food intolerance Food allergies occur in about 3.2% of cases. 80% of food-induced allergies occur in infancy before the age of 1 year.

Thereafter, the incidence tends to decrease gradually. Two-thirds of food allergies in children and adolescents are caused by milk. However, it can also occur with fruits or fruit juices.

It is normal for the milk allergy to go away when you stop drinking milk and recur when you eat it again.

Milk allergy occurs in 3.7% to 7.5% of children and adolescents.

An allergy to milk can also occur in babies who are breastfed by mothers who have consumed milk.
